HCI Capstone Final Project “OnSet Application” – DePaul University

This was my “capstone” final group project that was initially pitched by myself and chosen among my peers to execute. This project, created through an elaborate UCD process, was to design a GPS map based mobile application that allows users to locate and physically visit past or presently filming movie/television sets within a city or defined general location while incorporating social share and gamification capabilities. We wanted the users to be provided with the most efficient information architecture within the application, the ability to effectively locate movie/television set locations within the digital map interface and be capable of further engaging functions after they had reached their destinations. We accomplished these goals through various exercises of interviewing, sketches, card (Optimal Workshop) sorting, user flows, personas, prototypes with varying levels of fidelity and the associated user testing.
