Logo and Graphic Design
Freelance and Full-Time
I wanted to include some graphic/logo design projects that I did for my employer Daniel Weinbach and Partners, Ltd. and a couple examples of freelance work. While employed at DWP I was responsible for creating most of the visual presentations and made many covers to our presentation booklets seen by clients or public agencies. Other work in this section includes logo design and even a food truck wrap. |
“Soul Cal” Tacos Food Truck
I did a complete branding, logo and food truck wrap design for a group of first time food truck entrepreneurs. They had an idea for the look they were going for, but gave me a very loose design inspiration. Basically, they wanted a peacock in the design and for it to look really nice! I took the idea and ran with it after a few iterations as shown below. |
I began by doing some very clean, flat and modern takes on the design while maintaining the peacock as a focal point. One was a pixelated minimal design and the other more of an Aztec inspired geometric design.
They liked them, but ended up wanting a more “organic” mural aesthetic. Doing a design on a truck was something I had never done and the logistical challenges were fairly immense considering wrapping it around a vehicle with many windows and impediments. |
Below is the final mural that shows exactly how the design would be wrapped from driver side to the back of the vehicle and then to the passenger. I must say logistically it was one of the hardest graphic designs I have ever completed. The clients were happy and the truck was successful. |
Daniel Weinbach and Partners, Ltd. Graphic Design
For 9 years I was the head of graphic design for this landscape architecture firm and created many visual design presentations for clients and for competitions. I included some of these original covers to illustrate how I used a previously designed brand and propelled it forward with modern design aesthetics. |
